Coharo Coatings Concrete Sealer is a Innovative Hybrid Binder for the Coating of Cementitious Flooring. Also used to create our recycled Glass Carpet floor coating and primer all in one.
As a floor coating it provides excellent stain protection superior to conventional coatings and has a color intensifying effect. The binder penetrates deep into the pores of a cement-bound floor (an Exampe can be used over Coharo Coatings - Vetro Uno) or concrete, filling the pores completely and forming a thin, shiny film on the surface. After the binder has cured, everyday substances containing water or oil are unable to enter the pores. The first coat strengthens the floor. A second produces a homogeneous surface that increases scratch and scrub resistance and makes the floor polishable. It is possible to walk on or drive over the floors about twenty-four hours after application.
For our Glass Carpet floor coating a 1 Litre tin mixes with an 18 Kg Bag of our recycled 3-5mm crushed glass. (different grades of glass or stone can be used) Oxides are used for desired colouring. A prime coat of the Concrete Sealer is applied to the floor then a homogeneous mixture of glass and binder is then applied wet-on-wet to the treated surface. This layer is tack-free from 3 to 4 hours after application. Once cured, it possesses the high mechanical strength needed for holding the Glass in the carpet together. If required, the carpet can be sealed with a topcoat.
Coharo Coatings Concrete Sealer cures on contact with moisture and its chemical structure has been optimized to produce the necessary viscosity which is easy to apply, environmentally sound and user-friendly.
